‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ season 4’s episode 20, titled “Farewell, Cruel World!," will follow the team as they race against time to defeat Aida a.k.a. Madame Hydra, who is ready to execute her grand plan. Daisy and Simmons will have to work fast to get the team to escape the Framework, however, they will stumble on some complications as not everyone will be willing to leave.
The short synopsis for “Farewell, Cruel World!” posted on TV Guide reads, “Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) rush to get the team out of the Framework, but not everyone is ready and willing to leave.”
The upcoming episode is set to follow Aida a.k.a. Madame Hydra (Mallory Jansen) as she finally executes her grand plan. The promo reveals that the team will discover that Aida’s ultimate goal is to create a human body for herself in the real world. This would enable her to have free will, enough to execute everybody within the Framework.
Aida also managed to find out Daisy and Simmons’ hideout in the real world, which spells trouble for the two agents, according to Comicbook Movie. The upcoming episode will also feature Daisy and Simmons as they race against time to get everyone out of the Framework before it’s too late. They will also work to eliminate Aida before she succeeds in her deadly plan.
‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ season 4’s episode 20, titled “Farewell, Cruel World!," is scheduled to air on ABC On May 2, 2017. It was directed by Vincent Misiano and written by Brent Fletcher. It will be followed by episode 21, titled "The Return,” scheduled to be released on May 9 and directed by Kevin Tancharoen.
The American television series is based on the titular fictional organization in the original Marvel comic books and revolves around Phil Coulson and other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents working together to deal with enhanced individuals following the enactment of the divisive Sokovia Accords. The series is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
