Real Madrid Unveils 2024/25 Home Kit: A Tribute to Tradition with Modern Elegance
The Madridista have cherished the club's iconic white kit, symbolizing our rich history. This classic look has been donned by some of the most legendary players in the world of football. According to adidas News, the 2024/25 design is a tribute to the club's origins, with a minimalist aesthetic that echoes the enduring legacy and fondness that all those associated with the club have for the color white as it ushers in a new era of thrilling talent.
The new uniform is further connected to the club's DNA by incorporating a custom houndstooth pattern with the initials' RM' throughout the design. Adidas employed a 3D engineering technique to construct the jersey in three layers, which discreetly imbued the shirt with a layered RM pattern, resulting in a textured appearance and feel that added depth and intrigue.
The design is completed by a seasonal V-neck collar and minimal black detailing that is interwoven with the Adidas logo on the shirt, shorts, socks, shirt sponsor, and the renowned three stripes that run down the shoulders of the shirt.
"Over the past 26 years, we've been honored to reimagine the classic white strip of Real Madrid and create iconic looks that will forever be attached to the success of the club. Regardless of what that final design is for each season, we always stay true to the core DNA of Real Madrid. So, for this season's home kit, we've gone back through the archive and reintroduced it to a new generation of fans and players, creating one of the cleanest looks in recent memory," Sam Handy, SVP of Product and Design at Adidas, said.
"When I arrived at the club, I couldn't wait to wear the famous white kit When you put on the shirt you feel the history of Real Madrid and I'm excited to create more incredible moments for the fans in this new shirt next season," Real Madrid CF midfielder, Jude Bellingham said.
