BOCA RATON, Fla., July 21, 2017 -- ADT, a leading provider of security and automation solutions for homes and businesses, will kick off its annual week of service on Saturday, July 22 with hundreds of employees and their families rolling up their sleeves to make a difference in communities where they live and work.
“At ADT, we help build stronger and safer communities, and our ADT Always Cares annual week of service showcases that commitment,” said Jamie Haenggi, ADT Chief Marketing Officer. “New this year will be ADT and Protection 1 team members volunteering together.”
From Seattle to Miami, and all points in between, ADT volunteers in 21 states and the District of Columbia will be out in full force performing a variety of tasks, partnering with a wide range of non-profit organizations:
- Helping build a Habitat for Humanity home in Denver
- Sorting donations for the homeless at Star of Hope in Houston
- Hosting an ice cream social at the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester, NY
- Serving breakfast at the Ronald McDonald House in Wichita
- Cleaning mangroves and beaches in South Florida
- Spending quality time with seniors at the Shreveport Senior Care Center
- Stacking donated food at the Second Harvest Food Bank in Spokane
- Painting and brick laying at Safetyville USA in Sacramento
One of the volunteers taking part this year will be Christina Oldham, an ADT Business Process Specialist in Aurora, CO who said, “I love volunteering and showing my community that I care. It makes me feel good knowing ADT provides these opportunities for employees to give back.”
