"90 Day Fiancé" Season 5 Star Molly Hopkins has come back with a vengeance ever since she and her soon-to-be ex-husband, Luis Mendez, went their separate ways.
While not the only "90 Day Fiancé" couple to have split since last revisited, Hopkins and Mendez's post-"90 Day Fiancé" love life has been a roller-coaster ride. For most fans of the TLC documentary series hoping to catch up to the couple's life after the show, news of the couple's Instagram drama, eventual divorce proceedings, and even Luis Mendez's rumored deportation have been shocking reveals compared to the happy endings that could be hoped for.
Molly Hopkins has some recent shocking news herself. In an episode in the third season of "90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?” Hopkins admits to the show's host, Shaun Robinson, that considering the fallout with Mendez, Hopkins now has another relationship in her life. Luis Mendez was not part of the follow-up show's third season to comment on Hopkins' reveal. Instead, Molly Hopkins was joined by her daughter, Olivia Hopkins.
When asked to comment on her mother's relationships, the Hopkins daughter mentioned that she has become exhausted with her mother's love life and would prefer not to be involved in Molly Hopkins' relationships in the future.
Interestingly enough, Mendez's decision not to be part of the sequel season may be related to his claims that TLC had not compensated him for his time in the original show's fifth season.
With Mendez out of the picture, it would seem Molly Hopkins may be set in moving on but in a more private manner compared to the public scrutiny that "90 Day Fiancé" had provided. Much of the ex-couple's dysfunction may be tied to Luis Mendez's hesitance about becoming a father. The inicompatibility between Mendez and Hopkins could not be more overstated considering that Hopkins is the mother of two girls.
