U.S. under Trump Series: Trump orders U.S. Intel agencies to cooperate with meddling investigations

President Donald Trump announced via his favorite social media account, Twitter - “Today, at the request and recommendation of the Attorney General of the United States, President Donald J. Trump directed the intelligence community to quickly and fully cooperate with the Attorney General’s investigation into surveillance activities....during the 2016 Presidential election. The Attorney General has also been delegated full and complete authority to declassify information pertaining to this investigation, in accordance with the long-established standards for handling classified information.... ...Today’s action will help ensure that all Americans learn the truth about the events that occurred, and the actions that were taken, during the last Presidential election and will restore confidence in our public institutions.”

This is a major move in order to ensure that Attorney General William Barr can look into what really happened during the 2016 election. The A.G. has already confirmed during his congressional hearings that the President’s claim is true and his campaign was in fact spied upon by U.S. intelligence agencies and he intends to look whether the spying or surveillance was predicated or not.

It is alleged that top officials at U.S. spy and intelligence agencies were colluding and conspiring to prevent Donald Trump from becoming the President. And, it is those officials who actually perpetrated and promoted the Russia collusion theory as an insurance policy against Donald Trump to get him out of office should he win the election.

The A.G. has delegated the investigation to John Durham, a reputable and non-partisan career prosecutor, who has vast experience in investigating crimes and wrongdoings within the government.
