Polish unemployment rate likely decreased to 11.7% in March

  • According to the Polish Labour Ministry, there were 115,000 job offers reported in March which equates to 18.6% mom growth. The number of unemployed people was 53,000 lower than in February and 316,000 lower than a year ago. 

  • Analysts see the unemployment rate falling to 11.7% in March from 12.0% in February, the seasonally adjusted rate to come in around 11.0%. 

  • The unemployment rate to be close to 10.0% by end-2015, estimates Societe Generale.
