‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ is may be on its way to the big screen after the Kardashian family was reportedly offered $100M to turn their show into a feature film.

According to The Daily Mail, the Kardashian family has been approached for a $100 million deal to turn their E! reality television series into a full-feature film set in New York and Los Angeles. New York Times best-selling author Ian Halperin revealed, “A top Hollywood studio executive told me today that his major studio intends to make a huge offer to the Kardashian family to star in a feature-length film… The studio's research showed the Kardashians could become the highest TV-show-turned-movie ever.”

Halperin authored ‘Kardashian Dynasty: The Controversial Rise of America’s Royal Family’, a book that attempted to explain how the family built their empire. Meanwhile, sources close to the family also said that the Kardashians expressed their excitement over the possible movie deal.

Kris and her daughters Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie will star in the film with guests such as George Clooney, Charlize Theron, and Jimmy Fallon expected to appear in cameos. According to Business Standard, it remains unknown whether partners – Kim’s husband Kanye West, Khloe’s ex-husband Lamar Odom, and Kourtney’s ex-partner Scott Disick – will also make it on the film.

‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ is a television series on E! focused on documenting the “real” everyday lives of the blended Kardashian-Jenner clan. Since the show’s debut on October 2007, it has become one of the most popular and longest-running series on the network.

Although it received generally poor reviews, it continued to gain notoriety and managed to run for numerous seasons. It is currently on its 12th season.

The mainstream success of the series spawned several spin-offs including ‘Kourtney and Kim Take Miami’, ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’, ‘Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons’, ‘Khloe and Lamar’ and the most recent ‘Dash Dolls’, chronicling the lives of the female employees of the Kardashian sisters’ boutique in Hollywood.

Jenner patriarch Caitlyn Jenner also debuted her own spin-off show ‘I Am Cait’, chronicling the life of Caitlyn after her transgender transition from Bruce. It debuted on E! on July 2015 and received generally positive reviews from critics.

Not to be outdone, another spin-off series starring Rob Kardashian and his pregnant girlfriend Blac Chyna is reportedly in the works. According to TMZ, the couple was offered a seven-figure sum for their own reality television series.

‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ premiered season 12 on E! on May 1, 2016.
