“Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 13 will feature something unusual because the team of investigators will head underwater to solve a case. This week’s episode is titled “Ke Iho Mai Nei Ko Luna” or “Those Above Are Descending” and we will see the main stars traversing the Pacific Ocean floor.

As per CBS, the plot summary of “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 13 reads: “Adam (Ian Anthony Dale), Junior (Beulah Koale) and Tani (Meaghan Rath) travel to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean when a murder takes place in a remote underwater lab and the killer may still be on board.”

Based on the “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 13’s trailer, Adam, Junior, and Tani go deep in the ocean to get to the crime scene. As they investigate, the trio discovered that the killer is still underwater too and he is hiding in an underwater lab. Their investigation was made harder by the fact that the people who can provide them with vital information about the case are not being cooperative since they are not used to talking to people.

“Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 13 will also feature a recurring cast including Teilor Grubbs (Grace Williams) and Eric Scanlan (Natano Reigns). For the guests, some names to mention are Reed Diamond (Claude Nostromo), Katie O’Donovan (Nina Kane), Jeff Galfer (Jim Walker), Angela Lin (Linda Brady), Moronai Kanekoa (Marcus Nash) and Ken DuBois (Jason Kamaka). Karen Gaviola directed the upcoming episode.

Even if lead stars Steve (Alex O'Loughlin) and Danny (Scott Caan) were not mentioned in the synopsis, they will still play a major part in "Hawaii Five-0" season 9 episode 13. The two veteran detectives will help their juniors in solving the difficult underwater task.

“Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 13 is set to air on Jan. 18 at 9 p.m. on CBS Network. Watch the "Ke iho mai nei ko luna" preview below:
