It seems that AMC's “Fear the Walking Dead” is not done with Lennie James' Morgan Jones. The network's official preview for “Fear the Walking Dead” season 4 episode 12 shows a desperate Morgan keeping his radio line open for any survivors that he was separated from. While Morgan tries to reconnect with the rest of the survivors, two particular members of the group are shown to have a much more challenging time linking up.
June (Jenna Elfman) and Althea (Maggie Grace) are shown having reception issues trying to reach John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt). June and Althea also feature a bit later into the preview, with the couple losing the SWAT van they had been riding to an unknown thief. The pair seems to get into trouble with some wild walkers after the pickup truck they are driving loses a tire during the vehicular chase.
It also looks like that the blonde trucker woman, Sarah, played by Mo Collins, that Morgan Jones encountered in a truck stop in the previous episode will be making a significant comeback in episode 12. Following Sarah is the new potential human antagonist of the series who was introduced at the end of episode 11. The character has yet to be fully identified but if fans are not unsettled by the fact that she keeps pet walkers in the back of her pickup truck, they can probably still expect her to provide Morgan and company a significant roadblock as the series progresses.
While the preview does not show any significant deaths for any of the characters, fans of “The Walking Dead” can probably expect some casualties from the show's cast. The challenges of linking back together with the other survivors become greater as the episodes progress with no chance of the core survivors linking up soon in sight.
Fans of “Fear the Walking Dead” can look forward to season 4 episode 12 airing on Sept. 2 as its usual Sunday evening broadcast schedule.
