As many fans are expecting, the upcoming manga installment “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 38 will feature another round of action-packed battles. But the highlights, according to spoilers, are the appearance of Kefla and Anilaza.

This week, raw scans of “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 38 emerged online, giving fans a hint about the featured battles in the continuing Tournament of Power. One of the exciting parts includes the appearance of Kefla after Caulifla and Kale fused into the Saiyan form.

Kefla’s arrival in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 38 confirms that Kale will be able to intensify her powers as initially shown in the previous chapter. According to reports, Kale and Caulifla will be able to produce Kefla through a successful Potara fusion that almost matches the power of Goku.

While Kefla has already been featured in the same Tournament of Power arc in the anime series, fans will still want to see her in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 38. There are significant differences between the manga and the anime in terms of Kefla’s upcoming fight, making the next pages worth the wait.

Otakukart notes that there are two main differences between Kefla’s appearance in the anime and in the manga. For one, Omen played a huge role in Goku’s win over Kefla. However, Omen is not part of the story in the manga. This means that how Kefla loses or prolongs the battle in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 38 is still a mystery.

It is also important to note that in the manga counterpart, Kefla is fighting with Gohan in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 38. Considering how powerful Kefla is, manga readers can expect to see Gohan in a poster-worthy battle -- something that he did not have in the anime series.

Aside from the battle between Kefla and Gohan, “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 38 will reportedly feature Anilaza as well. Spoilers have it that the huge Android will turn out to be Universe 3’s chance to win. But whether or not Anilaza will actually win his battle is still unknown.

Creators and publishers of the manga series have not yet confirmed “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 38’s official release date. However, the spread of its raw scans could be hinting that it will arrive within this month. For the meantime, fans can review the events of the previous chapter that was posted last June 21 on Viz.com.
