Co-founder of Finder to become pioneer in launching cryptocurrency bank of Australia

There has been a rapid surge in the number of FinTech startups in Australia over the past 5 years and the sub-sectors encompassed have become more diverse. Investment in the Australian FinTech sector has risen remarkably as the Australian FinTech ecosystem is becoming increasingly diverse.

For now, the latest edition is that Fred Schebesta, the co-founder of one of Australia’s largest tech stories (Finder) has publicized their upcoming “multibillion-dollar” project plans to establish the “first crypto bank of Australia”.

Thereby, Fred Schebesta, who has been the country’s budding and youngest successful entrepreneur with the sale of his first business before founding comparison website finder.com.au, termed himself as a “time traveller” who intends to test his luck to become as a pioneer into crypto-space.

“There’s a lot of intricacies when it comes to cryptocurrency and how it actually operates. We understand this market, we know how to make it safe and make it scalable and actually bring it to banks,” Schebesta stated during the interview with News.com.au.

He reckons that acceptance of cryptocurrency blowouts in the province, then the real need for numerous services such as custodianship, exchange relationship, and cold storage would be buzzing thing. 

While to substantiate this standpoint, the Co-Founder of the comparison website, Frank Restuccia also clarified in the recent past, with the launch of an OTC (Over The Counter) cryptocurrency exchange known as HiveX soon after.
