“Seven Deadly Sins” Season 4 isn’t coming out any time soon as it will probably take a year or so for the animation studio to release the installment. The demand for the next season has been heavy of late as the shonen series gained a lot of following after it was included in Netflix’s programming a few years ago, Comic Book reported.
And since the previous installment ended with a huge cliffhanger, viewers’ desire for “Seven Deadly Sins” Season 4 blazed even more. While fans can opt to read the manga in order to find out what happened to Meliodas and the rest of the group, others want to watch the story unfold from the animated series's viewpoint.
But as said earlier, “Seven Deadly Sins” Season 4 may not be coming out until 2019, with possible unforeseen delays for the installment still on the table. There’s also some confusion among fans regarding the sequence release of the seasons, with most of the blame stemming from how Netflix numbered the installments.
While “Seven Deadly Sins” Season 4 has been heavily searched on the web, the upcoming installment is actually the series’s third and not fourth. The confusion came when Netflix labeled the “Signs of the Holy War” arc as a separate season rather than as part of the second installment.
As such, fans have been confused as to what season is coming out in 2019. In reality, “Seven Deadly Sins” Season 4 is actually “Seven Deadly Sins” Season 3 and will continue from the latest cliffhanger of the animated series.
Fans were devastated by the fate of Melodias following the events that culminated in the second installment. For most, it was such a bittersweet moment for the beloved protagonist and people are just hoping the guy can find another way to accomplish the enormous task before him. Torn between the decision he’s going to choose moving forward, Meliodas is currently on a crossroad deciding path he’s going to take in “Seven Deadly Sins” Season 4.
Whatever it is, it will take a heavy toll on the characters’ soul, especially since the decision involves saving Elizabeth or giving up his friends and endanger others. But manga fans know all too well that this weight is but a fraction of what “Seven Deadly Sins” Season 4 is going to put on Meliodas’s shoulders.
