Offering recognition for excellence and innovation in the SaaS industry, the SaaS Awards program is now in its second year of celebrating software innovation. Winners in the category for Best UX/UI/Design in a SaaS Product are chosen for innovative and/or beautiful product design and selected by a global panel representing the fields of tech, business, academia, and marketing. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, August 29.
“For years iCIMS has earned a reputation for our robust talent acquisition platform and our customer experience,” said Al Smith, vice president of technology at iCIMS. “More recently, we’ve made significant investments, including an in-house Design Lab, to prioritize the UX and UI of our technology, and it’s wonderful to be recognized for these efforts,” concluded Smith.
iCIMS’ new Design Lab is comprised of UX researchers, architects, developers and designers supporting both the back-end talent acquisition platform and the front-end candidate experience. Consumer-minded job seekers continue to drive demand for a rich candidate experience, from mobile-friendly career sites to text-enabled communications to embracing Google for Jobs. Given the rise of the consumer candidate coupled with the growing complexities surrounding recruitment, user experience is paramount to attracting job seekers and simplifying the complex HR technology landscape for recruiters.
“iCIMS has done a fantastic job listening to customer feedback and reflecting that in their latest UI update,” said John Leech, director of talent acquisition at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “The layout has provided easier navigation and allows our recruiters to clearly identify the information we care about from a quick glance. Ultimately, our goal is to attract the world’s best candidates and deliver a well-rounded hiring experience, and this responsive design is a huge help towards accomplishing that,” concluded Leech.
