Burger King is celebrating its birthday, and to make this day special, it has unveiled a newly redesigned BK crown that was created in partnership with world-famous artist Romero Britto. The item is set to be offered to loyal customers as a special keepsake.
Burger King is turning 68, and while it gets old, it will be marking its special day with a new look that will surely help boost sales as well because customers will simply love this new BK crown. The fast-food chain is also offering a special free Whopper deal for diners.
As per the report, Royal Perks members can get their free Whopper Jr. sandwich if they buy food items worth $1 or more. Then again, this offer is for a limited time only and starts on Wednesday, June 1. This means that if supplies run out on the launch date, then the promo is already done for the day.
It is not hard to earn the free Whopper as well because Royal Perks members can buy french fries or just a drink for $1 and then instantly get the burger. Customers can avail of this freebie via Burger King’s app or the restaurant’s website.
“Some of my first memories of moving to the United States include going to Burger King and getting a Whopper and a crown. It was the only restaurant I frequented – in fact, my first date with my wife was at a Burger King – so this collaboration felt like a natural fit,” Romero Britto said in a press release. “Having the opportunity to redesign the iconic BK crown is such an honor, and having been a fan of the brand for so long this partnership brings it all full circle.”
As for the remodeled BK crown, it will be available while supplies last as well. Getting the crown will also give customers a chance to win some prizes, and people can learn more about this offer by visiting Burger King’s official webpage.
Finally, the limited-edition BK crowns clearly show Romero Britto’s art style. His widely recognized colorful and vibrant patterns mixed with the pop art style fries and burgers are hard to miss.
