Levi Ackerman will be forced to participate in an action-packed combat with Kenny the Ripper in “Attack on Titan” season 3, episode 2. Levi will have no choice but to fight the serial killer after he emerged out of nowhere and killed several characters, including Nifa.
In “Attack on Titan” season 3, episode 2, even more combat scenes are present, as shown by the preview. While other protagonists are also expected to engage in the battle, it appears that Levi is going to be the focus of the next episode.
It can be recalled that Levi suddenly told Nifa about the serial killer he knows from the past. That murderer turns out to be Kenny the Ripper. Levi told his story as he and Nifa were spying over the Military Police. Out of nowhere, Kenny and his crew arrived, immediately killing Nifa.
Meanwhile, the “Attack on Titan” season 3, episode 2 preview also revealed that Kenny the Ripper’s real targets are Eren and Historia. After seeing how quickly Kenny the Ripper took the life out of Nifa, Levi will be forced to make a move and stop the serial killer from carrying out his plans.
All these events waiting to unfold are indications that “Attack on Titan” season 3, episode 2 is going to be very intense. Levi has to fight Kenny while he also needs to lead his team in retrieving Eren and Historia.
Fans who have been reading the manga series would know that Kenny the Ripper is actually Levi’s uncle. In the manga, Kenny claims that he used to train Levi. If “Attack on Titan” season 3, episode 2 will follow the events from the manga series, it is unlikely for Kenny to die immediately.
Also it, would be interesting to see if the anime series will retain the story of how Kenny died in the manga series, where he shows good faith to Levi before his last breath. But seeing this sequence in “Attack on Titan” season 3, episode 2 right away is also far-fetched.
“Attack on Titan” season 3, episode 2 will air on Sunday, July 29. Digital streaming platforms like Crunchyroll release a simulcast of every “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode.
