Halloween is happening in a week, and that means the Hallow’s End events both on “World of Warcraft” and “World of Warcraft: Classic” will soon come to a close. But with only a week left, Blizzard is inviting players to maximize the limited time events with an enticing offer of a discounted Warforged Nightmare.
‘World of Warcraft’ sale: How to get the Warforged Nightmare for half its regular price
It only makes sense to go all-out in the final week of “World of Warcraft” Hallow’s Ends festivities to collect as many rewards as possible. The Halloween-themed events will officially conclude on Friday, Nov. 1.
To make the best out of the “World of Warcraft” events, players can get some boost by purchasing the Warforged Nightmare mount. It was first released in 2014 and has been priced at $30. But today, until Monday, Oct. 28, at 3 p.m. PT this special item is available for only $15.
Riding the Warforged Nightmare onto “World of Warcraft” allows players to establish a Nightmarish Hitching Post that lets other members of the party get their own mounts that can be used for 20 minutes. Note that the speed of the Warforged Nightmare depends on the fastest riding skill of every character. Also, this item is not available on “World of Warcraft: Classic.”
‘World of Warcraft’ Hallow’s End: Where can players use their Tricky Treats pile
Throughout the “World of Warcraft” Hallow’s End events, the most essential goal is to collect as many Tricky Treats as possible. Tricky Treats are the special currency used in the Halloween-themed games awarded to players who finished quests during the events.
Since the Tricky Treats are not an all-year-round currency, it is designed to be traded for some Hallow’s End exclusive items. For 150 Tricky Treats, “World of Warcraft” players can get a new toy called the Headless Horseman’s Hearthstone.
Meanwhile, there are other big things to look forward to after the Hallow’s End events, especially for “World of Warcraft: Classic” players. It has been recently confirmed that the game’s second phase with new content and gameplay updates – including the removal of the layering scheme – will be released before 2019 ends.
