Ford is back with its UAW discount for the 2025 F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E, offering electric vehicle buyers up to $9,500 in savings.
A new United Auto Workers (UAW) discount was implemented this month for the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E. New electric vehicle buyers may now take advantage of Ford's rebate, which can be combined with other discounts.
Result of New Labor Agreements
The new UAW Member Offer was made by Ford as part of the talks after the new labor contract agreements reached with the UAW in December.
Participating UAW members were each given a $1,500 voucher for the purchase of a brand-new Ford. But that wasn't an exclusive deal. All Ford buyers were given the option to do so. The UAW Member Offer appears to be being continued at this time.
Online vehicle research company CarsDirect has seen a dealer notice stating that Ford will be offering the UAW discount again on vehicles for 2025.
Big Savings on 2025 Models
The majority of 2025 Ford vehicles, including the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning, are qualified, according to the memo that was given to dealers on July 30, 2024.
Right before the new 2025 Ford models arrive stores, you may save $1,500 with this offer. You can get it all around the country until December 31, 2025. The fact that it can be combined with other incentives is its strongest feature.
Summer Sales Event Adds Incentives
According to Electrek, starting on July 9, 2024, Ford unveiled new electric vehicle discounts as part of their Summer Sales Event. You can save up to $9,500 with the program's incentives and 0% APR offerings.
Leasing a Ford F-150 Lightning (2024MY) costs only $1 more than a Maverick thanks to the new discounts. Lease prices for the Mach-E have dropped below those of the gas-powered Chevrolet Camaro.
Following a 31% increase in sales of electric vehicles in the United States in July, Ford has announced the continuation of the UAW Member Offer. During the past month in the US, Ford sold 2,822 F-150 Lightnings (+82% YOY) and 4,592 Mustang Mach-Es (+16% YOY).
Sales of electric vehicles increased by double digits, while sales of Ford SUVs were a drag on the company's total sales performance.
