LOS ANGELES, Sept. 07, 2017 -- Chirp, the global leader in data-over-sound technology solutions, today announced that Marco Carvalho has joined the company as EVP and Chief Strategy Officer, effective immediately.
Based in Los Angeles, Marco will be responsible for leading Chirp’s growth across the Americas, to further accelerate their dominant position across the US and Latin America. With Chirp’s recent partnership with Hijinx and Netflix’s Beat Bugs toy range, Marco will lend his expertise and will drive initiatives to continue to create toys that magically interact with content on any device.

Marco is also currently the founder of Immersive Play where he oversees the development of content, consumer products and technologies to expand storytelling beyond screens. He was previously CEO and co-founder of Toys Talk, an award-winning toy company headquartered in Brazil. Marco has decades of experience in the product development and high-tech product industry.

Previous to living in Los Angeles, Marco lived in China for 10 years and was focused on product development and supply chain management at SBV Group for Brazilian and Global customers.
