Turkish non-domestic producer price index rises in March

Turkish non-domestic producer price index rose in March. According to the Turkish Statistical Institute, the non-domestic producer price index rose 3.44 percent sequentially. On a year-on-year basis, the index was up 32.24 percent. On the 12-month averages basis, the index rose 39.82 percent.

Sequentially, the index rose 5.24 percent for mining and stone quarrying, while the index was up 3.40 percent for manufacturing. The highest rates of month rise was seen in coke and refined petroleum products. The index for coke and refined petroleum products rose 11.34 percent, whereas indices for metal ores and for computer, electronic and optical products were up 6.89 percent and 4.63 percent, respectively.

The main industrial groupings classification showed that the highest rate of monthly rises was seen in energy goods and the highest rate of annual rises was seen in durable consumer goods in March.
