Turkish consumer sentiment index rises sequentially in April

Turkish consumer sentiment index rises in April. According to the Turkish Statistical Institute and Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey’s consumer tendency survey, the consumer confidence index rose 6.9 percent sequentially to 63.5 in April from March’s 59.4.

The financial situation expectation index rose 5.1 percent sequentially to 82.2 in April from March’s index of 78.3. Meanwhile, the general economic situation expectation index rose 4.8 percent to 82.4 in April from March’s 78.6.

The number of people unemployed expectation index rose 7.8 percent sequentially to 63.5 from March’s 58.9. Meanwhile, the probability of saving index rose 18.3 percent to 26 in April from March’s 22.
