Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras seems to be managing well his divided party, which was revealed over last two voting of bailout conditions, in which 39 members of his party either abstained or voted against his proposals and Mr. Tsipras had to rely on oppositions to pass the new bailout conditions.
However, this week he strongly defended his positions this week in front of public as well as his party members asking for those, who have better alternative to come out and show it.
Despite his U-turn on anti-austerity policies, Mr. Tsipras remained extremely popular at home.
Faced with the threat of new election, Mr. Tsipras has tried to tame the dissenters in his party. He originally called for part congress for September but also remained open for any snap party referendum over current leadership.
Syriza's 200 party members voted for Tsipras' proposal to hold an extra-ordinary party congress to discuss bailout and further strategy was approved easily.
If Mr. Tsipras is able to fend off dissenters and hold onto control, mood over Greece is likely to remain upbeat.
Euro as of now has changed its focus from Greece to FED, is currently trading at 1.108 against dollar.
