Toyota Korea has started accepting pre-orders for its Crown model in two powertrain options: a 2.5L hybrid and a 2.4L dual-boost hybrid, with an official launch date of June 5.
The new Crown is a crossover model that combines a sedan and a sport utility vehicle (SUV) and features a hammerhead front end, daytime running lights, a 12.3-inch multi-information display, and a touchscreen center display.
The Crown is Toyota’s first mass-produced model, introduced in 1955.
Its 16th generation was released last year.
The Crown is the second electrified vehicle released by Toyota Korea following the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) model.
