Several cast members of “This Is Us” season 3 have warned fans to prepare for a shocking premiere. Apparently, the actors recently received their copies of the show’s script and read what is going to happen in the first episode.
Mandy Moore and Chrissy Metz both shared some insights into the events to unfold in “This Is Us” season 3 premiere. Though the actresses did not give away any plot details or spoilers, their separate social media posts are hinting that the first episode might make many fans fall from their seats. Moore and Metz play the mother and daughter role of Rebecca Pearson and Kate Pearson.
After reading the first episode script, Moore said the “This Is Us” season 3 premiere “is NOT for the faint of heart.” Meanwhile, Metz commented on the script after reading it “on the flight home.” In Metz’s case, she was so shocked by what she saw that the attendant on her flight needed to ask her if she was okay.
On another occasion, Milo Ventimiglia practically said the same thing when he was recently asked by Goldderby to describe “This Is Us” season 3. The actor, who plays the patriarch Jack Pearson, was asked to say something about the upcoming show in three words. However, Ventimiglia needed more than that.
Ventimiglia then said the fans “won’t see what’s coming” in “This Is Us” season 3. Like Moore and Metz, he did not give any specific details about the show. But he did make it very obvious that “This Is Us” season 3 is set to wow its fans once more.
“It really is. I’ve spoken a lot with Dan [Fogelman, 'This Is Us' showrunner] and the writers before we had our hiatus and even while they’ve been in the room and what I’ve heard of what the third season is, people have an idea and they think they do but man, you have no idea. You won’t see what’s coming,” Ventimiglia further teased about “This Is Us” season 3, which is slated to premiere on Sept. 25.
