“This Is Us” Season 3 Episode 7 promises to bring diehard fans to a time that they have never seen before but have always wanted to. The episode will feature the early days of Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Jack’s (Milo Ventimiglia) relationship where they go on a trip together. Aside from giving viewers a glimpse into the start of this legendary love story, the episode will also show how Jack’s demons were first revealed to Rebecca.
In the “This Is Us” Season 3 Episode 7 promo clip posted on YouTube, fans are treated to the first few days that Jack and Rebecca had known each other. It’s unlikely for the entire episode to focus only on the couple, but would anyone really complain if this was the case? In any event, the trailer goes over how the two slowly fell deeper in love and how the first real obstacle surfaced.
Fans will already be aware of how Jack’s time in Vietnam has always tormented him and how has always refused to talk about it. Even now, very little is known about his experiences during the war and the prospect of “This Is Us” Season 3 Episode 7 revealing a bit more about it is exciting. This could prime viewers for the inevitable flood of tears that will hit them once the entirety of Jack’s Vietnam story is shown.
As Carter Matt notes, it’s obvious from the clip that there was something that drew the pair together on an irresistible level. Obviously, this eventually led to the two marrying each other, but there also had to have been obstacles along the way that might have made the outcome less set in stone. This is where Jack’s nightmares come into play.
“This Is Us” Season 3 Episode 7 is set to air on Nov. 13. Fans can check out previous episodes over at NBC.
