‘This Is Us’ Season 2 Spoilers: Milo Ventimiglia Drops Hints on Pearson Family, Posts Photograph of Co-Star Mandy Moore’s Shocked Face Over Revelations

‘This Is Us’ season 2 star Milo Ventimiglia recently dropped hints on what to expect for the Pearson family during a recent panel interview. He also posted a photograph of his co-star Mandy Moore on Twitter showing her shocked face over revelations for the upcoming season.

According to Deadline, Ventimiglia talked about what to expect for the much-anticipated second season of NBC’s critically-acclaimed drama television series. He said, “There’s a lot happening for all of the Pearsons. Jack and Rebecca need to get their marriage on track because it’s crumbled and fractured.”

Co-star Mandy Moore added, “I think some of the answers people are looking for will be at least satisfied and satiated at the beginning of next season.”

Ventimiglia and Moore play Jack and Rebecca Pearson, respectively. The final episodes of season 1 followed Jack and Rebecca as they struggled through marriage life as their children began growing up. Jack was haunted by his drinking addiction while Rebecca attempted to get her singing career back on track.

The series focuses on the Pearson family and it jumps back and forth between decades. Head of Makeup Zoe Hay revealed during the panel at Deadline’s The Contenders Emmy Event, “It was very important to have the makeup look realistic… You know, [Rebecca’s] a mom at home, she’s not going to look like a beauty ad in the ’80s.”

Hay continued, ““With Milo, we referred to beard-gate… We had a lot of dialogue about how we would transition him for each period. … We haven’t tried a trucker mustache yet!”

There have been numerous speculations on the cause of Jack’s eventual demise since the show revealed the Pearson patriarch’s fate. According to US Weekly, a fan recently shared a rather convincing theory on how Jack died as it may have already been foreshadowed in season 1’s finale. It was rumored that Jack will return to the poker bar where he was threatened with death as an adult but will eventually be killed off in a violent way.

Meanwhile, Ventimiglia recently posted a photograph of Moore with a shocked expression on her face on Twitter. According to Just Jared, it was captioned, “…when I told @TheMandyMoore a little I’d learned from dinner w/ @Dan_Fogelman & @kenolin1 about season 2…can’t fake that surprise. MV”

‘This Is Us’ season 2 was renewed by NBC last September 2016. It will consist of 18 episodes.
