Developer studio CD Projekt Red is releasing the “Game Of The Year Edition” for their wildly popular title, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,” which contains all of the downloadable content for the game. Along with the bundle, a new trailer was also released, which is sure to bring back fond memories for fans of the series. Finally, there’s a new 1.30 patch, which is meant to fix all outstanding issues that remain.
When the last DLC for the “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” game, called “Blood and Wine” was released, it was met with a mixture of joy and sadness. While CD Projekt Red is going to keep supporting the game, it marked the end of what has been a wild ride for players of the epic title. Just to remind gamers exactly what the video game is about, IGN dug out their old files to compile their reviews of the main game and its accompanying DLCs.
In essence, “Geralt of Rivia’s” last adventure left a lasting impression that will stay in the minds of fans for giving them a role-playing game that absolutely changed the way the genre was viewed. More than anything else, it emphasized the importance of having compelling characters, impeccable writing, and an immersive story.
Epic Stream also highlighted the newly released trailer in conjunction with the GOTY edition of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.” The trailer is basically a compilation of certain dialogues and events in the game, but it was so amazingly edited that it served to reignite the intrigue, excitement, and thrill that players initially experienced during their first time taking the reins of the main character.
Finally, the developers released the latest patch, which is now at 1.30. Those who purchase the GOTY edition won’t have to do anything as the patch is already part of the package. For the rest, updating their games is advised, as the patch contains bug fixes and cosmetic changes. These are important for completing certain quests, preventing “Roach’s” tail from disappearing, and seeing the dwarven banker Vimme Vivaldi in a posh new garb.
