It can be said that “The Walking Dead” season 9 episode 7 is like a new show instead of a continuation of episode 6 because this will be the first telecast after Andrew Lincoln’s character as Rick Grimes has been killed off. Yes, the main man of the series has left already so it is interesting to see how the remaining characters would do without their leader.
In any case, “The Walking Dead” season 9 episode 7 is titled “Stradivarius” and as posted on AMC, its synopsis reads: “Carol seeks out an old friend living alone in a wilderness teeming with walkers; survivors make the perilous trek to a new home.”
The upcoming episode will pick up from the time when Rick left and the survivors met Judith Grimes (Cailey Fleming). They will be hit with new problems and they have to solve it without Rick so the viewers can expect the survivors to be in serious trouble.
Moreover, “The Walking Dead” season 9 episode 7 will show Daryl Dixon living alone in the forest after he withdrew from the group following Rick’s death. On the other hand, Carol’s position appeared to have been elevated and she is now the queen of Kingdom alongside Ezekiel (Khary Payton).
The events mentioned above are happening in the future as “The Walking Dead” season 9 episode 7 will show six-year time jump since Rick’s passing. By this time, Judith is now 10 years old and Rosita is in a relationship with Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam).
Commenting on the fast-forward time changes in “The Walking Dead” season 9 episode 7, showrunner Angela Kang said, “I really love the section of the story that we’re telling. We are playing with time. We’re playing with the style of the show a little bit. I think fans will enjoy the new look and feel that we have.”
Meanwhile, “The Walking Dead” season 9 episode 7’s “Stradivarius” will be Michael Cudlitz’s directorial debut. The actor is also appearing in the drama as the grown-up version of Daryl. Episode 7 will air on Nov. 18 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
