The Holy War continues in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 6, but this week’s installment will feature a heartfelt and eventually devastating story between Rou and Gerheade. This moment between the human and the fairy will reveal why Rou has betrayed the Stigma warriors.
Rou’s saddening past will not be the only highlight of his interaction with Gerheade in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 6. But fans should also prepare for a shattering development in Rou’s arc.
'The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods' episode 6 spoilers: Why Rou has betrayed Stigma
In the middle of the killings between the humans and other warriors of Stigma, Gerheade asks everyone to stop. She will then be attacked by one of Rou’s companions, who will mutilate her wings and legs. However, Rou’s reaction was to kill the human and save Gerheade. Rou then carries Gerheade’s bloody body exactly when King arrives. This is going to enrage King so much that he launches a fatal Basquias blow towards Rou in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 6.
However, Gerheade and Rou will share a heart-warming moment before the latter faces King’s wrath in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 6. Gerheade reveals that she does not think Rou is evil, but she sees immense anger and sadness buried in his heart. This is when Rou finally explains why they have betrayed Stigma at such a crucial time.
“The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 6 will likely include flashback scenes to when Rou was younger. He had a childhood friend whom he promised to live when they grew up. But his friend was killed when the Stigma raided their village after they took care of a lone, injured demon who Rou recalls as being a “good person.”
Rou and three others were not killed because they were away at the mountain for training. Rou reveals that since then, they have been training to get stronger and planning their revenge on Stigma.
'The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods' episode 6: ‘We Call That Love’
Gerheade and Rou’s moment will be rounded up with the fairy’s observation. She sees through Rou’s heart and finds that the human has been thinking about Gerheade as if she is his killed friend. Gerheade sees Rou imagining taking care of the fairy in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 6.
In the manga, and most likely in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 6, these visions will give Gerheade a “great warmth in the heart” that she cannot explain. But the title of the next episode, “We Call That Love,” could explain it to the viewers. New episodes of “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” are being released every Wednesday.
