Based on how the episode 11 concluded and the official title of “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 12, fans can expect more action-packed scenes. This time, Goddess Elizabeth and Elaine are joining the fight as well. Escanor is also going to be forced to tackle a Meliodas who has gone berserk.
'The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods' episode 12: How Melascula will be defeated
Melascula remains the main threat in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 12. But, thanks to the protagonists' bond and unity, they will eventually defeat one of the Ten Commandments.
The appearance of Goddess Elizabeth convinces Melascula to step out of her dark dimension and tackle them head-on. Melascula transforms herself into a giant snake and attacks Ban first, prompting Elaine to retaliate in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 12. Everyone is worried because Elaine has yet to recover completely, but seeing Ban in grave danger enables her to muster her strength, even reaching a power level of 21,050.
As Melascula continues her rampage, Ban makes contact with her venom making parts of his body instantly disintegrate. But Elizabeth acts quickly and heals him while also neutralizing Melascula's poison.
One of the highlights in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 12 will be the coordinated attack of the Seven Deadly Sins with Elizabeth and Elaine. Their series of actions lead to sucking out all the venom that gives Melascula her power turning her into a tiny snake that they will then trap in a vial. At one point, Merlin comments that Melascula's fault from the start was belittling the Seven Deadly Sins.
'The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods' episode 12: Escanor vs. Meliodas
Early on in Melascula's rampage, Meliodas manages to break free from her dark cocoon. But doing so has some serious repercussions in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 12. His desperation leads to his use of all his strength, making him reach the Demon power level. This explains why from this point, Meliodas speaks as the captain of the Ten Commandments.
Escanor volunteers to tame the berserk Meliodas, so Merlin agrees to contain them in a Perfect Cube where the two will fight in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 12. Meliodas immediately dominates Escanor leading to the latter getting stabbed.
Elizabeth wants to heal Escanor, but Merlin explains that Meliodas, at this state, cannot recognize any of them. He will not hesitate to kill them all if Merlin lets the two out of the cube.
“The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 12 will likely end in a cliffhanger where Escanor, despite reaching combat class 114,000, is easily pummeled by Meliodas. This episode airs on Wednesday, Dec. 25.
