To say that “The Promised Neverland” Episode 5 is going to be an interesting episode would be a major understatement. Then again, the same has been true about all episodes of “The Promised Neverland,” so far. Basically, the fifth installment is where Norman will confirm that Ray is the traitor who has been feeding information to Isabella after setting up a trap.
As TheAnimeScrolls notes, Norman had set up a trap in the previous episode to catch the traitor who has been talking to their mother/jailor. After confirming that it was neither Don nor Gilda, the brainy blonde had to consider that it could be one of his two closest friends. He was proven right when Ray fell for the trap and now, “The Promised Neverland” Episode 5 will see the conclusion of this development.
Before anyone starts picking up their torches and pitchforks, however, Ray will have a good reason for betraying his friends. He simply has his own plans that he has been keeping from the other two and he will reveal it to Norman in “The Promised Neverland” Episode 5. It’s not as if he could keep being quiet about it now that he has been compromised.
In any case, there are going to be surprises, after surprises in “The Promised Neverland” Episode 5 that fans of this unbelievably good show are going to love. So far, the anime has not disappointed in delivering the same level of intensity and thrill as its source material. At this point, the big twist by the end of this season is going to blow the viewers’ minds.
So, when will “The Promised Neverland” Episode 5 air? Feb. 7 is the date to keep in mind, so fans will definitely want to mark it on their calendar for more fun times with the orphans.
