“The Flash” Season 5 Episode 3 seems to have an ominous title that will make fans of a certain character nervous.
Well, the episode is titled “The Death of Vibe,” so Cisco Ramon/Vibe (Carlos Valdes) will likely be in an uncomfortable situation with his life in danger. According to the official synopsis, Team Flash is on high alert after Cicada (Chris Klein) attacked Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin), while Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) comes up with a plan that will put a member of the team in danger. Based on the title, that person has to be Vibe. The episode will also show Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) examining her past.
Fans of the “The Flash” would know that Cisco had already died before in Season 1 after Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) revealed himself to be Reverse-Flash, but that death wasn’t permanent as Barry unknowingly traveled back in time and prevented it from happening.
In any case, Cicada seems like a dangerous opponent and Team Flash should not take him lightly. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly last month, Gustin talked about the villain’s arrival and how he’s a threat to the team.
“He can dampen other metahuman powers, and we don’t know at first how he’s able to do that. He’s got an edge that no other big bad has ever had. We don’t know who he is. He’s mysterious. He’s just kind of an intimidating, big scary man that can render pretty much all of these metahuman superheroes useless, more or less, in battle,” Gustin said.
“He comes on hard and fast the first time we meet him, so right away there’s an intimidation factor that’s through the roof, similar to Zoom,” he added.
It will be interesting to see what happens in “The Flash” Season 5 Episode 3 once it airs later this month.
