It will be a difficult week for the Lagina brothers and their crew as “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 15 will show them facing a big crisis. The issue is not simple as it has the potential to put an end to the whole exploration venture and the Money Pit will never be found forever.
In “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 15, Rick and Marty Lagina will try to come up with a new plan as their multi-million dollar treasure hunt is at risk of becoming a “history” after learning that a sinkhole where the digging is taking place is getting wider and although the experts said at first that they continue digging with the use of a 3-ton hammer grab tool, however, they must be extra careful from now on.
“The Curse of Oak Island” crew was informed that the ground has become gravely unstable so there is a risk of a bigger collapse, and it may happen any time. This is because, the Oak Island, especially the area that is believed to be the location of the Money Pit, had been dug on for years resulting to over 40 shafts, multiple holes and tunnels.
A collapse will only mean one thing and that is the end of the search. Although it will be a big disappointment to everyone if the operations will be halted, Marty Lagina made it clear that safety comes first for them when he said: “We’re all about safety.” “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 15 will surely reveal if the search for the fabled treasures can continue.
Meanwhile, the results of testing for the objects they found earlier are already in. They unearthed some materials that were assumed to be pieces of leather and paper but it turned out that those were not leathers but can be just bark of a tree.
For the paper, it was good news because the experts said they are a few centuries old. Perhaps, the paper was really part of a medieval manuscript believed to be buried in the Money Pit? “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 15 is likely to give answers as the story continues.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 15 titled “Dye Harder” is set to air on March 5 on History at 8 p.m.
