“The Bold and the Beautiful” will never be the same again as it was reported that Ingo Rademacher who plays Thorne Forrester in the long-running drama decided not to renew his contract with CBS. As a result, he will be leaving the show after just a year of playing an important character.
While it has been announced that Ingo Rademacher is making his exit from “The Bold and the Beautiful,” many viewers do not believe the reports and this was why the actor personally wrote an announcement via Instagram. On Dec. 23, the actor updated his account with a photo of himself and a message that reads: “It is true what you are hearing and I think it’s time to set the record straight. I have decided to not continue with my contract on ‘The Bold and The Beautiful.’”
Ingo Rademacher made it clear that it was his own decision not to continue with the show and shared that his last taping day has been scheduled in January. Then again, fans should not feel that sad because he said that he may still return in the future if asked to do so.
As for his reason for leaving, Ingo Rademacher pointed out that he is making his exit on good terms. He does not have a problem in “The Bold and the Beautiful” nor he is involved in a conflict with a cast member or production staff. The actor made it clear that decided to withdraw as Thorne Forrester to be able to spend more time with his family that is based in Hawaii.
“We are parting on good terms and with the possibility of a return. We shall see what the new year brings,” Ingo notes.
In any case, Daily Soap Dish suggested that Ingo Rademacher may be replaced by an actor who previously appeared as Thorne in “The Bold and the Beautiful.” The publication stated that it is possible that Winsor Harmon may return to reprise his old role and take over as Ingo says goodbye. It is yet to see if Harmon will really be back as Thorne and fill the void that will be left by Rademacher.
