‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 12, titled “The Holiday Summation," is set to feature Sheldon and Amy as they return from Texas with stories of their terrible trip.
The brief synopsis for “The Holiday Summation” posted on Cartermatt reads, “Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) visit Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) for the first time since the holidays and share details about their terrible trip to Texas.”
It seems that Sheldon is set to visit his home state in Texas bringing his girlfriend Amy with him although he doesn’t seem too happy with the outcome as revealed by the episode synopsis. Actress Laurie Metcalf is also set to return as Sheldon’s mother.
The promotional photograph showed Sheldon, Amy, and Sheldon’s mother Mary Cooper at a dinner table as they shared dinner. It seems that Amy and Mary will have to put their differences aside to support Sheldon and his decisions as well as life choices.
Sheldon and Amy are currently living together in Penny’s old apartment and it seems that Mary will be displeased with her son and his girlfriend’s current living arrangement since this clashes with her deep religious beliefs.
Executive producer Steve Molaro revealed that the incoming episode will be a “post-holiday recap.” According to Inquisitr, he said, “The whole gang — and Stuart — are back in the living room, as they should be, telling the stories of the horrible holidays that they had.”
Meanwhile, the Wolowitzes will struggle with becoming new parents. According to Game N Guide, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will become frustrated about not knowing what her baby girl wants after. It seems that she would find motherhood rather overwhelming and may need the help of Howard (Simon Helberg), Raj (Kunal Nayyar), and Stuart (Kevin Sussman).
‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 12, titled “The Holiday Summation," is scheduled to premiere on CBS on January 5, 2017. It was directed by Mark Cendrowski with a story by Steve Molaro, Eric Kaplan, and Tara Hernandez and teleplay by Steve Holland, Maria Ferrari, and Jeremy Howe.
