Season 5 of the hit sci-fi show “The 100” is about to come to the finale and fans are already hyped for “The 100” Season 6. The show’s renewal for a sixth season has already been confirmed for quite a while but the details as to what it will be about are still sketchy. For those who might want to binge on the show by watching Season 5 on Netflix, though, the schedule has been revealed.
“The 100” Season 6 has been confirmed as far back as May, and as Otakuart notes, not many details about the upcoming season have been revealed. So far, the only thing that anyone really knows about it is the return of some of the cast, including Eliza Taylor (Clarke), Bob Morley (Bellamy), and Lindsey Morgan (Raven).
On the other hand, some speculations can be made about the fate of the show, starting with the comments that showrunner Jason Rothenberg made to Entertainment Weekly some time ago. While talking about Season 5, he noted that the twist at the end of the season might set it up for a longer run.
“We do keep reinventing the show every year – every year is a new adventure, a new set of bad guys, a new set of goals for our heroes. I think the twist at the end of this season is bigger than anything we’ve done in the past, let’s put it that way. It could set us up for a long run,” Rothenberg said at the time.
Regardless of how many seasons the show might go for, however, many fans are currently wondering when they’ll get to binge-watch Season 5 on Netflix. Apparently, it’s going to be on Aug. 15, Decider reported. This would put it eight days after the season finale and “The 100” Season 6 is expected to follow the same pattern.
