“The 100” season 6 serves as the beginning of an all-new chapter of the series. There will be a new main protagonist, a new set of characters, and a new world. But one of the long-running puzzles in the show will remain — the question of whether or not Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) will end up as a couple.
The current status of Bellamy and Clarke’s relationship is one of the major changes from the same title book series where the TV show was loosely based. Around this time in the novels, Bellamy and Clarke were already engaged. But “The 100” season 6 has a completely different plot for these two.
It can be recalled that Bellamy and Clarke have had serious falling out for the most part of season 5. By the finale, the two were just trying to rebuild their friendship and this is where “The 100” season 6 will pick up.
The road to rebuilding their relationship in “The 100” season 6 does not seem easy but they will make it in the end, showrunner Jason Rothenberg hinted. “This season starts with a little bit of a reckoning of some of the things that they went through last year, especially from Clarke's side of things. She left Bellamy to die and things like that,” he told TV Guide. “But I think they both turn the page and figure out a way to be together on the same page. That's when good things happen."

On top of mending their friendship, Bellamy and Clarke are also going to step up and be the leaders of their group in “The 100” season 6. Some might think that it could be the chance for them to realize they could be together, however, it is important to note that Bellamy is still romantically involved with Echo (Tasya Teles) once the show returns this month.
There is now a much smaller chance for Bellamy and Clarke to be together in the TV series. One of the strong indications that it was possible was because it happened in the books. But Rothenberg has previously implied that he sees “The 100” season 6 as “a new book” and explained (via TVLine), “The first volume is closed and now we get to tell an entirely new adventure with the people we’ve come to love.” “The 100” season 6 premieres on Tuesday, April 30, at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
