‘The 100’ Season 6 Air Date, Spoilers: New Installment in the Works; Cast Member Marie Avgeropoulos Arrested for Domestic Violence

The 100

“The 100” season 6 is now in the works and this is a fast move considering that season 5 just concluded last week. The renewal of the show was announced in May and filming immediately followed, which made fans excited.

What’s more, the good news is that CW president Mark Pedowitz shared that there are also plans for season 7. Although he did not say exactly say that it was already confirmed, Pedowitz stated that it is highly likely to happen.

Earlier this year, during the Television Critics Association winter press tour, Pedowitz said, “He (Jason Rothenberg, "The 100" executive producer) may have a six or seven-year plan to it. I don't know if I'm allowed to even say that, that he has a plan beyond year five, but he does.”

Filming

“The 100” season 6 is rolling already. The Daily Mail reported that shortly after season 5 aired, the shoot for the sixth season started. This means that even before the fifth installment wrapped up, the cast was already back on the set for the next.

Air Date

There is still no announcement regarding the “The 100” season 6’s premiere date. However, it was said that it is likely to be back between January and May 2019. U.S. viewers can watch it on The CW while those in the U.K. can view it via Channel 4’s E4.

Plot

“The 100” season 6 is expected to pick up where season 5 left off. It will be the time when the survivors who were put to cryosleep are going to wake up and find themselves in a new land. Sadly, Clarke and Bellamy will not make it to the new place but their 27-year-old son will take their place.

Meanwhile, “The 100” star Marie Avgeropoulos, who plays Octavia Blake, was arrested on Aug. 5. According to TMZ, the star was booked for felony domestic violence.

She was put behind bars for allegedly assaulting his boyfriend while they were inside a car in a parking lot. Although her boyfriend was said to have begged the police not to arrest his girlfriend, they refused.

Marie Avgeropoulos’ mugshot showed her in tears when arrested. The boyfriend posted a $50,000 bail for her freedom.
