Huntington Station, New York, Sept. 30, 2017 -- Teq, a leader in onsite and online edtech professional development for teachers, hosted the first in a series free professional development workshops for educators in New York City.
The workshops, conducted today at locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan, covered a range of classroom technology topics, including 3D printing, how to integrate student devices (like Chromebooks) into the curriculum, and best practices for instruction using SMART Boards. These were the first in a series of monthly workshops that Teq will host, along with its technology partners like Ultimaker and SMART Technologies.
Educators interested in attending upcoming workshops should visit https://www.eventbrite.com/o/teq-54674058 for topic and registration information.
"We've taken some of our most popular PD courses and made them into half-day workshops to accommodate New York City teachers," said Teq's Chief Learning Officer, Robert-Wayne Harris. "Our next workshops are scheduled for October 27, and we expect them to fill up quickly since we are an approved CTLE PD provider for [New York] State."
