The release date of “Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken” Season 2 has been slated to drop sometime in 2020. Unfortunately, the exact date hasn’t been revealed yet so it’s anyone’s guess when exactly will fans get to meet Rimuru and the gang again, MonsterAndCritics reported.
As can be expected, one of the main antagonists in “Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken” Season 2 is Hinata Sakaguchi. She’s the person that’s been following Rimuru in the final episodes of the first installment and works directly for the Pope of the Western Saints Church.
“Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken” Season 2 will feature a large battle in the country of Tempest. While this isn’t confirmed at this point, the premiere of the second installment might kick off with Rimuru and Hinata battling each other. The result will be Rimuru nearly dying.
Following that, he’ll return home only to find his beloved city besieged by humans from the Kingdom of Farmus. The attack is under the orders of the Church, an organization that means to rid the world of all manner of monster. “Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken” Season 2 will be quite dark for a few episodes as the invasion resulted in multiple casualties of Tempest civilians, with Shion among those that have been gutted.
Outraged and heartbroken, Rimuru will be at a loss for a few sequences before Great Sage offers a solution. In order to resurrect the Tempest citizens that have been killed, the titular slime must evolve into a True Demon Lord. But the price for such power is 10,000 souls. Filled with vengeance, Rimuru unleashes his full might at the invading forces, reducing their superior number to ash. After the price has been paid, Rimuru turns into a True Demon Lord in “Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken” Season 2.
Of course, holding such power comes with yet another complication: associating with other Demon Lords at an event called the Walpurgis Banquet. During the fell gathering, a conspiracy will emerge that is aimed directly at the destruction of Tempest. Rimuru must sniff out who is scheming behind his back and with the help of Milim, he does. With all these exciting plotlines and enormous battle that will be explored, it’s not surprising that a lot of anime fans are eagerly waiting for “Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken” Season 2. Hopefully, the production goes smoothly and no complication will arise during its making.
