Washington, D.C, Sept. 26, 2017 -- More than a dozen mayors from across the country and both sides of the aisle will convene Tuesday and Wednesday in Washington to meet with Congressional leadership and bipartisan members of Congress, including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Reps. Jim Renacci, Mike Coffman, Bob Latta, Sens. Jack Reed, Ron Wyden, Richard Durbin, Joe Donnelly, among others. Representing the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM), mayors will address a variety of issues, including fighting to protect Dreamers, ensuring a local voice is heard in the upcoming tax reform battle, preserving equitable and affordable healthcare for all Americans, and fast and comprehensive Hurricane relief.
