ST. LOUIS, Feb. 02, 2016 -- Amdocs (NASDAQ:DOX), the leading provider of customer experience solutions, today announced that TELUS, one of Canada’s leading quad-play service providers, is now live in production with an upgraded Amdocs billing and charging solution, resulting in optimized business processes and reduced operational expenses.
By upgrading to the latest version of Amdocs’ billing and charging solution, TELUS has been able to streamline the billing process with faster billing cycles – enabling an improved customer experience by providing more accurate and timely bills that will result in fewer customer queries. As well as increasing TELUS’ agility, the solution has improved billing predictability to ensure faster revenue realization. The project also includes a multi-year extension for Amdocs maintenance and ongoing services.
Supporting TELUS’ commitment to the environment, the new Amdocs solution runs on a TELUS virtualized hardware and software platform in its new green data center – requiring less IT hardware and, consequently, lower energy costs.
“Delivering an unsurpassed customer experience is a strategic priority for TELUS, as the Canadian market becomes even more competitive,” said Jim Ritchie, vice president of development and support at TELUS. “This new Amdocs solution helps to increase customer satisfaction by providing more timely and accurate bills, while helping to ensure more efficient operations with improved billing predictability and faster revenue realization. Our multi-year commitment to Amdocs testifies to the strength of our long term partnership.”
“TELUS is at the forefront of enabling The New World of Customer Experience, an era where service providers need to accelerate business value by optimizing business processes and reducing costs,” said Helen Wilde, general manager of the North America region at Amdocs.
