Suri Cruise, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’s 12-year-old daughter, has been in the spotlight since she was born. This is understandable since she has celebrities as parents and Hollywood stars with that. With that fame, does she want to follow in their footsteps and become a Hollywood star too?
The National Enquirer said yes, she does. Suri reportedly wants to act like her parents. In its report last year, the publication stated that Katie Holmes has been trying to dissuade her daughter from wanting to be an actress. It was said that the former “Dawson’s Creek” star was desperately trying to keep her daughter out of the spotlight but she failed as Suri Cruise insisted to act.
“This is not what Katie wants, but Suri is old enough now to start trying different things, so Katie’s been tutoring her on all things thespian,” a source supposedly told the paper.
It was added that Suri Cruise is interested in doing plays so Katie Holmes just gave in and supported her daughter instead. It was alleged that she signed her up for lessons with a renowned acting coach based in New York and he’s supposed to help her break into Hollywood as well.
Now, Gossip Cop is refuting this Suri Cruise story. It pointed out that it has been a year since the news came out and up to now there is no evidence to support this claim.
As mentioned by the publication, the 12-year-old is not looking for work and she has not been in any acting roles. Apparently, Suri Cruise is only focusing on her studies at a New York City private school.
The young girl is also spending a lot of time with her mom as they travel around the world. In short, she has no time to be in productions or even attend an audition for acting roles.
Meanwhile, Econotimes reported earlier this month that Suri Cruise was rumored to have sent letters to her dad, Tom Cruise. She reportedly wants to reconnect with her, and the “Mission Impossible” actor was also said to be trying his best to be in touch with his daughter whom he has not seen for years.
