There’s still no news when “Supernatural” Season 15 will be returning since the previous installment just ended last month. However, given that the series has been consistently returning in October since season eight, it’s highly likely that the upcoming entry will drop during this month, Den of Geek reported.
So what’s going to be the plot of “Supernatural” Season 15? Well, seeing that the gates of heaven and hell have literally been broken open, most of the story will be geared towards undoing the sacrilegious act.
CW is bringing out all the big guns for “Supernatural” Season 15 since it’s going to be the last entry for this long-running dark fantasy. And speaking of dark, it appears that the conclusion of the series is going to be heartbreaking as rumors are going around that the main protagonists might die during the course of the story. The source of the apprehension is from series star Misha Collins himself, TVGuide reported.
“I hate to say this but I kind of hope that the main characters on the show die at the end. I feel like we need that finality,” Collins said. With the stakes ever higher, there is a possibility that “Supernatural” Season 15 will indeed be killing its characters.
Jared Padalecki – who plays Sam in the show – also holds a similar sentiment, saying that a part of him wants the Winchester brothers dying in pursuit of a better tomorrow for everyone. Of course, it’s important to remember that this is merely speculation at this point and Collins and Padalecki’s statement shouldn’t be taken as a confirmation that this will indeed occur in “Supernatural” Season 15.
However, it does provide a satisfying – albeit heartbreaking – ending for the titular brothers as they’ve been hunting demons and monsters for the better part of 14 years. It would make sense that all of those experiences will culminate in them saving the planet from total catastrophic collapse in exchange for their lives. After all, their luck is bound to run out at some point. Whatever the case, “Supernatural” Season 15 will be the last entry for the series and fans can’t wait how the writers will end the adventures of the Winchester brothers. Hopefully, it wouldn’t be as disappointing as the ending of “Game of Thrones.”
