“Suits” season 8 episode 14 is going to be an interesting installment just based on the characters with significant roles in it. Scottie (Abigail Spencer) returns for another guest appearance and immediately clashes with Samantha (Katherine Heigl). Now, Harvey (Gabriel Macht) is caught between the fight.
The official synopsis for “Suits” season 8 episode 14 mentions that Samantha and Scottie “go toe-to-toe.” Exactly why or how is still under wraps, however, it is safe to assume that Scottie is back to mess things up with whatever Samantha is currently working on.
The “Suits” season 8 episode 14 promo video show Samantha telling someone (presumably, Scotty) over the phone, “You did something here and I’m gonna find it.” In the next scene, Harvey is seen furious about something that Scottie did without telling him. Samantha once again appears to insinuate that Scottie and Harvey have “unfinished business.”
Long-time fans of the series are familiar with Scottie. Aside from her appearances here and there, she and Harvey have a deep and complicated relationship as former colleagues and ex-lovers. And all those years together could certainly affect how Harvey decides this upcoming ordeal with Samantha and Scottie in “Suits” season 8 episode 14.
Harvey’s decision is likely one of the highlights of “Suits” season 8 episode 14. But Donna’s (Sarah Rafferty) cold conversation with Scottie in the promo video might be hinting that Harvey will eventually side with Samantha and, essentially, for the sake of their firm.
Scottie and Samantha are both very driven lawyers who do not have a problem getting creative in winning their cases. In fact, Scottie is likely trying to use her former connections at the Zane Specter Litt to get an advantage over Samantha. Scottie pays Donna a visit but her efforts will likely backfire as Donna later tells Scottie she can no longer lurk around Harvey’s firm. “Suits” season 8 episode 14 will air on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 10 p.m. ET on USA Network.
