The “PlayStation 4 Slim” bundles for “Uncharted 4” and other games were recently released by Sony. Now, the “Final Fantasy XV Luna Edition” bundle has been announced and it contains the highly awaited JRPG by Square Enix. Custom knickknacks are included in the bundle as well for $449.
U.S. gamers can get the bundle on November 29th, Engadget reports, just in time for when the holiday shopping craze starts picking up. As part of the special edition package, the “PS4 Slim” console will have a full moon decal, which looks impressive all on its own. However, the bundle will also come with a DualShock controller that’s branded with the game’s logo and 1TB of hard drive space.
Naturally, it will come with the game itself as well as downloadable content. It even comes with the excellent CGI movie “Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV” on Blu-ray. It’s the first movie in the Final Fantasy franchise that received decent reviews, which makes it a perfect addition to the collection of the series’ fans.
As the International Business Times notes, the source material for the decal on the front of the console of this particular bundle was actually one scene where the game’s protagonist “Noctis” looked up at the moon. The scene was chosen in an effort to draw in the older audience that stuck with the franchise since its infancy.
Now, it should be noted that this bundle only applies to the “PS4 Slim” since details about any bundles involving the more powerful “PS4 Pro” have not been released. It’s possible that Sony will be announcing something of the sort in the days to come, but for now, the only other choice of gamers would be to buy the upgraded console and the game separately. This would result in a much higher price tag and without the extras that come with the “Luna Edition” bundle.
