Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have called it quits in June and their divorce had been approved by the Seoul Family Court in July. The divorce proceedings were fast and there was not much fuss about their separation because the couple immediately agreed to everything and they did not ask for separation of properties.
In any case, it has been just five months since they were legally separated and some fans wonder what they are up to these days. Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are mostly spending their time on work but the actress appears to have more activities as she also spends time with her friends and engages in other things.
The actress’ returns to social media
When their divorce was announced, Hye Kyo stopped posting on her social media. But she returned in October and this was around the same time when she made her comeback in South Korea. The actress was not visible in her home country after her split from Joong Ki and although her comeback is not through a drama, movie or TV guesting, her promotional activity was well-received by the fans.
When she posted images of her photoshoots, fans also commented that she is still very beautiful despite her unfortunate divorce. But while she returns to social media, Song Hye Kyo completely eliminated all traces of Song Joong Ki. She deleted the remaining two photos she had with her ex.
Aside from work that mostly includes promotional activities, the “Descendants of the Sun” actress has been spending her free time with her friends. Just earlier this month, the actress dined with two of her closest friends Ock Joo Hyun and actress Jo Yeo Jeong.
Joo Hyun showed off their friendship when she posted their outing on her Instagram. The 39-year-old singer and musical actress also wrote, “My heartfelt warm for days thinking about our treasure-like stories from when we first met at 18 and 19 years old. Thank you, friends.”
Joong Ki’s whereabouts
As for Song Joong Ki, he is known to be mostly working. After finishing “Arthdal Chronicles,” the actor proceeded to film Korea’s first-ever sci-fi movie called “Victory.” There are reports that he will also be in the movie sequel of “Train to Busan” but up until today, there is no news of the actor hanging out with his friends or going on a trip.
