The Shiba Inu ecosystem has outlined multiple ways for its community, the SHIB Army, to earn the upcoming TREAT token as part of their engagement with the new layer-3 blockchain, empowering users with greater participation in governance and utility.
Shiba Inu Introduces TREAT Token Acquisition Paths to Empower SHIB Army in Upcoming L3 Blockchain
As work ramps up to build the Shiba Inu ecosystem's layer-3 blockchain, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team has revealed several ways for the SHIB Army to acquire the future TREAT token, as per TheCryptoBasic.
During recent discussions on the upcoming Shiba Inu L3 blockchain, which will use the TREAT token, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team has offered new information to the SHIB Army.
In a recent X post, Shiba Inu's content specialist Lucie reminded the SHIB Army that the TREAT token is based on the original vision of Shiba Inu's pseudonymous founder, Ryoshi.
As a result, Lucie highlighted that Shiba Inu enthusiasts have reason to be pleased about TREAT's arrival, especially since each interaction with the asset opens the door to an earning possibility.
“By engaging with it [TREAT], you’ll earn more than just any token; you’ll acquire a fully functional asset,” Lucie remarked.
Meanwhile, the content marketer shared detailed information about earning TREAT. SHIB aficionados, in particular, will gain TREAT by staking in the DEX ShibaSwap environment. The earning window also applies to SHIB aficionados who study SHIB: The Metaverse or interact with Shiboshi NFTs.
TREAT Token to Enhance Shiba Inu Ecosystem with Expanded Roles in Governance and Liquidity
Significantly, TREAT is a versatile incentive token within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Its responsibilities include improving liquidity for the upcoming SHI stablecoin.
The Shiba Inu team has stated that TREAT could eventually replace the BONE token as the primary reward token on ShibaSwap. TREAT would also support the blockchain adaption of Shiba Eternity, a collectible card game centered around Shiba Inu.
Meanwhile, TREAT's primary functionality will be the governance token for the upcoming privacy L3 blockchain. As The Crypto Basic reported yesterday, the Shiba Inu team raised $12 million by selling pre-launch TREAT tokens to venture capitalists. The goal is to speed up the introduction of the layer-3 blockchain.
Furthermore, the Shiba Inu team has clarified the L3 privacy blockchain in development compared to the existing layer-2 solution, Shibarium.
Lucie mentioned that Shibarium's L2 solutions are designed to improve scalability on blockchains such as Ethereum. Meanwhile, L3 solutions use higher-level protocols. Lucie underlined that potential L3 solutions using TREAT will not replace the BONE token used on L2. Instead, these assets will work together to enhance the Shiba Inu ecosystem's capabilities.
