“Seven Deadly Sins” Season 4 is expected to come out in 2020 as anime creators are supposedly waiting for the manga to finish. For those who don’t know yet, manga creator Nakaba Suzuki has announced that he’s planning on finishing the story sometime in 2019, AnimeNewsNetwork reported.
However, he did say that a sequel is still on the table although that largely depends what the decision of the magazine’s editor will be. And with anime installments taking a painstakingly long time to produce, fans of the franchise have no choice but to wait a year for “Seven Deadly Sins” Season 4. That is, of course, if production goes swimmingly and not suffer any unforeseen delays in the future.
As for what will happen in “Seven Deadly Sins” Season 4, most of the story will revolve around Meliodas and the heavy decision he has to make moving forward. His relationship with Elizabeth will take an unexpected divergence as well, with Meliodas taking more risks to protect his friend.
For her part, Elizabeth will remain loyal to Meliodas despite Zeldris restoring her memories and her godly abilities. As a consequence, however, Elizabeth’s curse will be activated once more fueling Meliodas’ desire to sever the bonds permanently. This, along with Meliodas’ wanting to become to next Demon King, will place tremendous pressure on his relationship with Elizabeth in “Seven Deadly Sins” Season 4.
The finale of the third installment saw the blonde-haired protagonist trying to act cheerful despite the overwhelming weight of the decision he has to make. On one hand, if he stays as the Meliodas he is now he won’t be able to save Elizabeth and break the curse. On the other, if he succumbs to his demonic nature, then he’ll have to give up his friends and endanger other people’s lives. “Seven Deadly Sins” Season 4 certainly have a lot of emotional journeys to explore and fans should be ready for some tear-jerking moments yet again.
