Selena Gomez is releasing a new album and she confirmed this by revealing she is currently preparing for it. With that said, this is the time that her fans have been waiting for. The young singer and actress has been idle for a long time due to her health and mental issues but it appears that she is all good now and back on track.
Now fans can look forward to listening to brand new songs from Selena Gomez. In her interview with E! News, the 26-year-old said, "I'm currently in the studio right now and it's going really good."
Selena Gomez looks confident but she admitted that she is actually kind of nervous. "I'm just nervous about it, honestly, because I feel like the next few choices that I'm gonna make are very crucial,” she shared. “So, I'm trying to be really, really diligent and just patient with everything."
Well, we can’t blame Selena Gomez for feeling what she is feeling while preparing for her new album. She is anxious because this will also mark her comeback to the music industry.
Selena Gomez’s confirmation about her new album cane at the right time because it has been weeks when she was rumored to be recording something. Paparazzi caught her coming in and going out of a studio in the last few months and the verification is finally here.
Then again, there is no information yet as to what kind of album that Selena Gomez is preparing to release. She did not provide a date when fans can expect her new tracks as well so, for now, it will be a waiting game for her followers.
Meanwhile, prior to her new album release, Selena Gomez also participated in some albums. In January, she was part of Julia Michael’s “Inner Monologue Part I” EP. She featured in the Michael’s “Anxiety” track in the album.
