Scott Disick and Sofia Richie’s relationship is still standing on solid ground even though a lot of people assumed that the pair wouldn’t even last a year. Among the naysayers is supposedly none other than Disick’s former flame, Kourtney Kardashian, Hollywood Life reported.
As the magazine’s source would have it, Kourtney is surprised that Scott Disick and Sofia Richie lasted this long given the age gap between the two. Scott celebrated his 35th birthday this year, while Sofia recently turned 20.
But what’s supposedly even more surprising for Kourtney Kardashian is how Scott Disick seemingly cleaned up his act while being with Sofia Richie. “Scott is looking and living much healthier than ever and it seems like it’s all thanks to Sofia. Sofia really takes care of herself and is well groomed. Scott is partying less, is behaving more maturely and is being a better father,” the source told the tabloid.
Another supposed reason that Kourtney Kardashian initially thought that Sofia Richie wouldn’t stick around with Scott Disick for so long is the fact that he has three children already. Mason, 8, Penelope, 6, and Reign, 3 are all his kids with the eldest Kardashian.
In 2009, Kourtney Kardashian broke up with Scott Disick after finding text messages on the guy’s phone addressed to “my wife.” At the time, however, Kourtney didn’t know she was pregnant. So after finding out, in December of that year, the two reconciled and managed to produce two more children in the years following their initial split. Of course, the reunion ultimately crumbled, and last year, Scott began dating Sofia Richie.
Now, the new couple's relationship seems to be as solid as ever if the social media posts of Sofia Richie are anything to go by. Recent photos of Scott Disick also prove the claims of HollywoodLife that Kourtney Kardashian’s ex has indeed gotten his act together. Of course, physical appearance isn’t always a clear indicator of what’s going on behind the scenes. Be that as it may, the duo appears to be content with each other’s company and it’s a toss-up at this point if their relationship will endure in the coming years.
